Jenelle Evans has been asserting that she’s been sober for six months, despite her arrest on April 23 for possession of heroin and assault. The troubled Teen Mom 2 star proved her sobriety once and for all via her Twitter when she shared the tokens she earned at her weekly Narcotics Anonymous meeting.
Jenelle Evans Shows Off NA Keychains & Cards
Jenelle revealed on Twitter that she’s been sober since November of 2012, and she’s been an active participant in Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
“I’m attending NA meetings once a week,” Jenelle tweeted on May 7.
“U should see all my chips I have on my key chain for being sober for such a long time!” she added, along with a photo of her prized trophies — four keychains on her keys, and 12-step cards that display the program’s thinking and belief philosophies.
“I will always take these with me in my car and the cards in my wallet,” Jenelle added. ”#SOBERTHINKINGALWAYS, I got chips, do u?”
Jenelle Evans Reveals Scary Heroin Addiction
On the Teen Mom 2 season four reunion with Dr. Drew Pinksy, Jenelle opened up about her scary addiction to heroin, thanks to her ex Kieffer Delp — and how she almost died of an overdose.
"Everything just got out of control, and I needed his support. And then when I got his support, then he wanted me to do the drugs. That was the first time in my life I ever tried it. And I didn't like it at all, and I was throwing up every five minutes. I had to go to the hospital like three different times, get IVs hooked up into me.”
