Is ‘Teen Mom 2′ officially off the air? Not so fast, according to Jenelle’s twitter feed. She made several hints that the show will return for another season — do YOU think the show will be back on TV?
Teen Mom 2 fans have been waiting anxiously to hear if the MTV reality series would be back on air after the fourth season ended in May, but Jenelle Evans might have let the cat out of the back with some not-so-subtle tweets!
Jenelle Evans Hints: ‘Is TM2 REALLY Over?’
Since the on-air schedule of the hit reality series was shifted a bit — season four ended up airing right after season three — and fans have been wondering if there is yet another season in the works. MTV wouldn’t comment to HollywoodLife.com on whether the show will be back or not, but Jenelle offered some telling insight on Twitter on May 29.
When Jenelle was talking to fans on Twitter, she said she “isn’t allowed” to reveal info about her personal life — which might mean she and the other girls are under contract by MTV!
The 21-year-old single mom to son Jace, 3, also alluded to another season in a cryptic tweet.
“but is TM2 REALLY over?” Jenelle tweeted.
‘Teen Mom 3′ Rumored To Air In August
With another season of Teen Mom 2 still up in the air, the new series Teen Mom 3 is rumored to air in August, featuring four new young women from the fourth season of 16 & Pregnant – Katie Yeager, Briana DeJesus, Alexandria Sekella and Mackenzie Douthit.
The original Teen Mom series only lasted four seasons, and considering all the Teen Mom 2 moms are now in their 20s, it could be time to call it quits. But so much of each person’s storylines were left open-ended, and the rushed airing/production schedule of the back-to-back seasons seems suspicious.
