First comes baby, then comes marriage? A new report claims that Kanye popped the question right after Kim gave birth to their baby girl, North.
We knew Kanye West was planning on proposing to Kim Kardashian soon after their daughter was born, but he reportedly didn’t waste any time!
Kim Kardashian & Kanye West: Already Engaged?
The 36-year-old rapper and brand new daddy reportedly asked Kim to marry him just days after she gave birth to North West, according to The Sun. The report also claims that the couple is planning a September wedding in Paris.
Yeezy reportedly did not give Kim an engagement ring, though he did give her a rare black diamond ring costing over $500,000 to commemorate the birth of North, The Sun reports.
Kanye West: Ready To Propose To Kim Kardashian
On June 21, six days after Kim gave birth, a source close to the rapper did tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively that while Yeezy hadn’t yet popped the question, it was going to happen very soon. “Yes, [Kanye is ready to marry Kim], without a doubt,” the source said.
“He loves her. Now that they’re a family, with a child, it makes [marriage] that much easier.”
And Kanye popping the question isn’t going to come as a surprise to Kim — the two have been talking about getting hitched for months now: “They’ve talked about it in length over the past few months, more like the last few months when she was carrying the child.”
Now that Kim and Kanye have welcomed North into the world, they can turn their focus to getting married, and planning what we’re sure will be an incredible wedding.
