She’s still an independent woman! The sexy singer had a nice day to herself on June 1, strutting around Studio City, Calif. and treating herself to a shopping spree.
When you’re always surrounded by so many people, sometimes it’s nice to get out completely on your own. Selena Gomez did just that on June 1 when she went out shopping totally by herself — no BFFs, no Justin Bieber, just Selena and her shopping bags.
Selena Gomez’s Retail Therapy
The “Come & Get It” singer looked gorgeous and laid back in black tights, strappy sandals, a loose-fitting sexy tanktop and a throwback headband. She brought the whole outfit together with her somewhat psychedelic retro sunglasses.
Selena looked to be stocking up on summer gear as she was photographed flush with shopping bags; one from Urban Outfitters and one from Free People. Nothing like a little retail therapy on a sunny Saturday.
Selena had all this time to herself because Justin was across the country in Miami. The Biebs was spotted in the city on June 1 and according to trance music DJ Markus Schulz, Justin had planned on attending his concert in Miami. “Just arrived at @Mansion_Miami, they told me @JustinBieber reserved VIP table behind the DJ booth,” Markus tweeted.
Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber: Together But Independent
We told you that Selena and Justin are officially back together, but that they’re taking things slow and are still in a trial phase right now. The fact that they’re still exercising their independence — Selena shopping alone, Justin in Miami — is just another indication of their current easy-going approach.
Selena and Justin are “taking baby steps back” into the relationship, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Part of that is still being able to do things without one another. But don’t worry, Justin knows that if he messes up when he’s away from Selena, she won’t hesitate to call the whole thing off.
