Kate Middleton, 31, is due to give birth to the royal baby any minute. And as exciting as it will be for world to welcome the next heir to the throne, we’re a little disappointed that we won’t see any more of her amazing maternity fashion choices!
Kate Middleton’s Pregnancy Fashion
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is set to give birth to her first child with husband Prince William, 31, made headlines with her chic maternity style. Although Kate spent most of her pregnancy appearances covered up in coats, she always selected flattering and fashionable options.
During an April 26 appearance in Leavesden, Watford, Kate reminded us all that she has royal taste, but a commoner’s budget. She dressed her baby bump in an adorable black and white polka dot dress from Topshop, and accentuated her natural waist with a black cropped jacket. She topped of her look with a pair of chic black heels, proving that she can be stylish and sensible!
Kate’s Chic Maternity Coats
Kate spent much of her pregnancy covering up her baby bump in stylish coats, which unfortunately concealed her growing baby bump. But towards the end of her pregnancy, we could see her giant bump underneath — and she still looked flattering and gorgeous!
During the annual garden party at Buckingham Palace on May 22, Kate looked stunning in a canary yellow Emilia Wickstead coat and a Jane Corbett hat. Kate kept her giant baby bump covered, but she still looked classy and chic!
On one of her last appearances, the Duchess rocked one of the best coats we’ve ever seen her wear. She experimented with patterns and animal print when she wore a long dalmatian-printed Hobbs coat at the naming ceremony of Princess Cruises' new vessel, the Royal Princess, on June 13 in South Hampton, England. She topped off her look with a black hat, black pair of heels and a white clutch — and she looked stunning!
