How unbelievably sad. After the 31-year-old ‘Glee’ star was tragically found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13, a huge group of stars took to Twitter to voice their devastation, shock, and grief.

The entertainment world is utterly heartbroken after news broke that Cory Monteith, best known for playing Finn on Glee, passed away on July 13. After hearing the tragic news, Cory’s co-stars and many other celebrities rushed to Twitter to express their mournful reactions.

Mark Salling, who plays Puck on Glee, captured his speechlessness over Cory’s death, only tweeting, “No.” Mark deleted the tweet soon after.

Taylor Swift tweeted, “Speechless. And for the worst reason.”

Kim Kardashian tweeted, “Just heard about the death of Cory Monteith. So sad. Prayers 4 his family. Praying 4 Lea too! Words cant describe what they must be feeling.” Kylie Jenner also tweeted a photo of herself, Kendall, and Cory along with the caption, “R.I.P.”

Rihanna wrote, “Cory Monteith, may your spirit be at peace, and may you fly with the angels… Heartbreaking, my prayers are with all of his loved ones!”

Nina Dobrev tweeted, “I’m gutted. Shocked and saddened to hear the news, my heart goes out to Cory’s family and friends. Lets respect their space as they grieve.”

Zooey Deschanel tweeted, “This is such sad news about @CoryMonteith – what an absolutely tragic loss of a very talented young man.”

Rumer Willis wrote, “I am truly saddened to hear about Cory Monteith. What a talented and sweet guy. My prayers go out to his family and loved ones.”

Cory clearly had an enormous and positive effect on everyone he came into contact with. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
