Sometimes being a hardworking actress means a lot more than just memorizing lines and nailing down inflection and facial gestures. Just ask Kristen Stewart, who is currently playing a soldier who is shockingly deployed to the torture prison Guantanamo Bay in the upcoming military drama, Camp X-Ray.
Kristen Stewart Shows ‘Dedication’ To Filming ‘Camp X-Ray’
Based on Kristen’s laid back demeanor and penchant for denim, you wouldn’t think she’d be up for the grueling physical demands of her Camp X-Ray role. But think again.
Tactical Media Group, the company of military-trained men and women that is overseeing the production of the army scenes for Camp X-Ray only has amazing things to say about K-Stew’s work ethic. In a message posted on their Facebook on July 17, they praised the 23-year-old actress:
We are all so proud of Kristen Stewart and her dedication in training for her new role in CAMP XRAY. She is one of the hardest working actors we have ever trained, PERIOD. Her level of respect, admiration, and honor bestowed upon our nation’s military is truly mind blowing, and the transformation we saw in her within only a few days was nothing short of awe inspiring. Her fans will be in for a rare treat when CAMP XRAY hits theaters!!! From all of us here at TMG, we salute you Kristen and will always be here for you!!

Kristen Stewart: Working On ‘Camp X-Ray’ Helping Her Get Over Robert Pattinson
Getting back to work, especially with such a challenging role, may be exactly what K-Stew needs after her rocky split from Robert Pattinson. It’s a great distraction and one that will actually make her stronger — mentally and physically.
