Marshmallows rejoiced July 19 when Kristen Bell and the rest of the Veronica Mars cast reunited at Comic-Con to reflect on their fondest memories of life in Neptune — and, of course, to give everyone a sneak peek at the highly anticipated V-Mars movie coming to theaters in 2014!
‘Veronica Mars’ Movie: Biggest Shockers From The First Trailer
As one would expect from Veronica Mars, the sneak peek packed quite a few surprises. For starters, unless I totally mis-read the scene, Weevil (Francis Capra) and Gia (Krysten Ritter) are married! But maybe I shouldn’t be too shocked; Weevil has always had a thing for “09-ers.”
Fortunately, some things never change. Dick (Ryan Hansen) is still able to offend Veronica and Mac (Tina Majorino) with a single sentence; Keith (Enrico Colantoni) still refuses to believe his daughter is a full-grown adult; and Piz (Chris Lowell) remains the most adorable creature on two legs.
Veronica, however, has undergone a bit of a change. She’s apparently out of the private-eye business when the movie begins, but a desperate phone call from a certain ex-boyfriend — the sight of Veronica and Logan (Jason Dohring) together again is enough to make anyone squee — might force her back into the game.
