Olivia Munn Sizzles In A Sexy Black Dress For The 'Newsroom' Premiere Jul 11th 2013, 15:45, by HL Intern There’s nothing basic about this LBD! The star turned up the heat on the red carpet but was her frock fierce or frumpy? VOTE! After being completely hilarious and a little bit raunchy in Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘I Wanna Channing All Over Your Tatum’ video, the actress decided to keep it classy on the carpet. Olivia Munn, 33, attended HBO's The Newsroom Season 2 premiere in Hollywood on July 10 wearing a black dress that was interesting to say the least. The Iron Man 2 actress usually looks stunning, but this dress didn’t quite do it for us. It might do justice on someone else but we’re just not loving it on Olivia — do you agree? Olivia Munn’s ‘Newsroom’ Premiere Dress: Whether you try to blame it on the background or the lighting, there’s no denying that there is something about this outfit that rubs us the wrong way! While the Thakoon dress hugs her curves, there two different fabrics on the frock don’t really do much on her. Some pieces of the dress are shiny black and other pieces are matte, making it look like there wasn’t enough of one fabric so they just used two! The hem of the dress is also purposefully uneven and hangs down longer on Olivia’s left side. As if all this confusion wasn’t enough, there’s also a random piece of sheer fabric that runs across Olivia’s chest between her shoulder straps that just seems out of place. We actually might have enjoyed this dress without this unnecessary garnish. There’s no denying the fact that Olivia has an amazing figure regardless of what she wears — and that still manages to come through in this LBD. We also like the way she switched up her style and went for a sleek and chic look. Has this dress committed a crime by hiding the star’s cuves? Can you press charges against a dress?
