What a fun uncle! Jacked up on all the excitement over the royal baby being born on July 22, the Prince of Wales is reportedly planning a huge party to celebrate.
Everyone has an uncle who loves to party — and we definitely know who fits that description for Prince George, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s days-old baby.
Prince Harry Organizing A Party For Baby Prince George
We’re talking about Prince Harry, obviously. The new uncle reportedly wants to celebrate his nephew’s birth on July 22 in style, with a massive party, according to The Sun.
“Harry is all over this,” a source told the paper. “He has had calls made already and William has agreed to it.”
On the big day, Harry could barely contain his excitement, rushing home from the Royal Air Force so that he could be with his family and meet Prince George. “He’s ecstatic to be an uncle and so proud,” the source adds. But now that the little guy has been born, it’s time to celebrate!
Mother knows best though — so how does Kate feel about letting Prince Harry organize a party? “Kate is fine,” the source says, “it’s tradition.”
Prince Harry: The Fun Influence In Prince George’s Life
Prince Harry has already gone on record saying that he’s going to be the fun uncle in Prince George’s life. Asked what his mission as an uncle will be at the July 25 opening of “The Sentebale: Stories Of Hope” exhibition in London, Harry replied, “To make sure he has a good upbringing, and keep him out of harm’s way, and to make sure he has fun.”
We just hope Harry’s not planning on having too much fun. No games of strip pool at a Prince George party for a couple of decades, right young man?
