Last season, Melissa was accused of being a stripper. This season, she’s being accused of cheating on husband Joe Gorga. And naturally, Kim D. is at the center of these new allegations.
Melissa Gorga hears there are rumors floating around that she cheated on her husband, Joe Gorga, with an ex-lover, on the July 7 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. All the ladies can only think of one person who’s likely responsible for these new allegations — Teresa Giudice.
Melissa Gorga Cheating Scandal — Did She Cheat On Joe Gorga?
Caroline Manzo, Rosie Pierri and Jacqueline Laurita visit Kathy Wakile at her new commercial kitchen. Inside, Rosie tells them about how Teresa wants everyone to go on a retreat together. Jacqueline says she’ll have to think about it while Caroline has no interest in getting further involved in the ongoing Gorga/Giudice feud. (Isn’t it a bit late for that?)
Later, Teresa calls Kathy to personally invite her to the retreat. Teresa immediately blames Jacqueline for the problems she’s having with Joe (while on speakerphone). Within seconds, Jacqueline swipes the phone from Kathy’s hands and starts arguing with Teresa. There’s a lot of yelling, humming over each other and finally, Teresa dares Jacqueline to go on the retreat. (Let’s just say that if the retreat goes anything like this call, they won’t be resolving much.)
Just when Melissa thinks all the drama may soon be over (if the retreat proves to be successful), she’s blindsided by some damaging accusations. One of Melissa’s closest friends (likely former friend now), Jan, tells Teresa, Kim D. and Jennifer Dalton that Melissa cheated on Joe. Teresa is “shocked” to see Melissa’s friend turn on her and says she doesn’t want to be a part of the conversation. (Yet, she doesn’t leave, tell them to stop or defend Melissa.)
Jennifer Plays Both Sides
Jennifer, who was recently trying to sell Melissa and Joe’s house, takes Melissa out for lunch. During their outing, she confesses to Melissa that Jan is spreading hurtful rumors about her. It seems like Jennifer has some ulterior motives, though. Because she then meets up with Teresa and tells her that she told Melissa about Jan’s accusation. Teresa freaks because she thinks Melissa and Joe will think she’s involved. (Obviously, they do. At this point, who wouldn’t?)
While out to dinner together, Melissa tells her husband, Kathy, and Jacqueline about the accusations, but they aren’t shocked to hear Teresa is involved. Jacqueline asks aloud: How is it that Teresa is always around when other people are making accusations against Melissa?
To make matters worse, Kim. D happens to be at the same restaurant as them. Melissa confronts Kim D., but she doesn’t take any blame.
Jacqueline gets pretty worked up over this new development and Kathy thinks she should go on the retreat and try to resolve her issues with Teresa.
