Plus, a new vampire is born! Mazel tov!

From the moment Ben (Rob Kazinsky) smoldered his way into Bon Temps earlier this season, Truebies have speculated a potential connection between Sookie’s fairy suitor and her ancient aggressor Warlow. The July 7 episode of True Blood finally proved those clever fans right — and the connection turned out to be a lot more direct than you might have imagined.

As it turns out, Ben is Warlow!

For once in her dopey fairy life, Sookie (Anna Paquin) was the one who put the pieces together after Jason (Ryan Kwanten) mysteriously recovered while under Ben’s care. And when Jason and Niall’s assassination attempt failed — bye, grandpa! — Sookie did what she does best: She took Ben to bed, trapping him between her sheets and her fairy ball.

Side note: I hope Warlow’s blood stays in Jason’s system for a while, because that little ‘shaving’ dream he had was the best thing we’ve seen since Sam’s (Sam Trammell) dream about showering with Bill (Stephen Moyer). This show knows its audience, that’s for sure.

Fairy Girls’ Night Out

Speaking of Bill, Bon Temps’ resident vamp-god co-hosted a little mixer with Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), and Andy’s daughters were the guests of honor. They still don’t have names, but thanks to their latest growth spurt, they now have boobs — and an insatiable appetite for partying, apparently.

Of course, Bill’s idea of a ‘party’ involves draining blood, so the girls quickly assessed the lame-ness of the party. That’s when Jessica, in a poor attempt to keep the girls from escaping, ended up draining all of their blood and leaving them for dead on the living room floor.

Nice one, Jess.

Daddy’s Little Vampire

Meanwhile, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) made his first vampire since Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten), and the lucky progeny was none other than the governor’s daughter, Willa!

It’s all part of Eric’s plan to get the governor to change his mind about vampires, but it all backfired when Willa returned home to her father — and he sent her to the camp! (Also, the governor is sleeping with Sarah Newlin? Gross.)

Odds & Ends

With each passing week, I feel like Pam and Tara (Rutina Wesley) become more and more believable as lesbians.

This season’s snoozy story line belongs to the werewolves. Like, what’s even going on with them? And does anyone care? Alcide (Joe Manganiello) stopped being interesting when he gave up on Sookie.
