The man who claims Justin and his crew attacked him at a Hamptons nightclub on August 3 gave his side of the story on August 9, which does NOT make the Biebs look very good.
Meet Wayne Rennalls, 22, the guy who claims he was beat up by Justin Bieber, 19, and his entourage after a nightclub confrontation at South Pointe on August 3. With a bruise and a cut under his left eye, Wayne held a press conference on August 9, where he stated what he believes really went down on that night in the Hamptons.
Wayne Rennalls: Alleged Bieber Attack Victim Has A Press Conference
With attorney Mark Rudner by his side, Wayne told reporters that his gig as a model for Worldwide Agency is now at risk, and it’s all because Justin was sour because he couldn’t pick up girls, according to the New York Daily News.
“Honestly, it was like jealousy in the club,” Wayne said. According to Wayne, Justin was trying to entice girls in the club to join him and his friends in the VIP section, but no one was biting. “I got a group of females, like seven on [this] left side and three on this [right] side and one standing behind me. The girls I was with, none of them ran to him,” Wayne said.
Wayne also stated that the club waitresses, Sophia Rayo and Dania Bhokasub, were directly involved in the fight that later ensued. One of the girls had borrowed Wayne’s bowtie and then migrated over to Justin, and then left with Justin’s crew. That’s when the chaos broke out.
Chasing the Biebs’ truck to get his bowtie back, Wayne says that’s when Justin popped through the sunroof and began acting tough. “You f***ing p***y, do something!,” Wayne says Justin shouted at him.
“Justin [was] still running his mouth and I took my shirt off to fight,” Wayne says. “That’s when they all hopped out of the truck and bum-rushed me. They said, ‘That’s your f***ing a**,’ and the first one came to me, and I put my hands up to fight, to protect myself.”
Outnumbered, Wayne was quickly taken down. He claims Justin then got into the act. “He [Justin] got around and kicked me,” Wayne states.
Justin Bieber’s ‘Altercation’: The Other Side Of The Story
It’s a totally different story than the one Justin’s camp — and even us at HollywoodLife.com – have been telling.
“Justin was not involved in any altercation,” a spokesperson for Justin told us on August 5. Justin also tweeted, “The most recent rumors might be the funniest of all. Where do u get this stuff??? #focusedonreality,” after the initial report of the club brawl was released.
Additionally, several eyewitnesses told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Justin was not involved in the confrontation, and that Wayne actually instigated the fight:
A rock was thrown at Bieber's car. His security exited the vehicle, confronted the main aggressor, who was being pushed back only because he was yelling and taking off his shirt and trying to get at Justin.
Another eyewitness believes it’s Wayne — not Justin — who is the jealous one in this case: “There was no physical altercation and Justin seems to be the real victim of a jealous, drunk partygoer.”
Police continue to investigate the incident; they have also confirmed that Wayne was being “aggressive” towards Justin and his crew, according to TMZ.
