Charlize Theron, 37, is not only an Oscar-winning actress — she’s a proud mom to her first child, son Jackson Theron! The beautiful twosome looked casual and chic when they landed at LAX on Jan. 6.
Hiding behind big glasses, a scarf and a fedora, Charlize kept her baby boy close to her chest as she dashed through the airport. Jackson looked super cute decked out in a hooded sweater and tiny little UGG boots!
Charlize Theron Shaves Her Famous Locks
Even though we’re used to seeing the Snow White and the Huntsman actress with her long blonde hair, she had to shave her head for an upcoming role in Mad Max: Fury Road, which was filmed in Africa. She is playing Furiosa in a remake of the 1979 action flick.
But it looks like her naturally brown hair is growing out a bit — and looks totally chick under the right hat.
Charlize Gushes About Adopting Baby Jackson
Charlize shocked fans everywhere in March 2012 when she adopted her first child, which took her two whole years. But her mom Gerda Aletta offered her solid motherly advice.
“My mom said the most beautiful thing. I'm going to cry,” she said on Ellen. ”She said, ‘It took me nine months to fall in love with you were growing in my stomach, [but] it took you two years to fall in love with this little baby.’”
“It really took two years of just waiting and then one day it's finally there,” Charlize added. “It just feels exactly how it's supposed to feel. I don't know how to describe it. It just feels right.”
