The proud parents showed off their adorable baby boy’s feet — and he’s rocking customized Nike kicks with his name embroidered on them! At just one day old, little Milan sure has style!
Shakira and her boyfriend Gerard Pique are so excited about the birth of their baby boy Milan, whom they welcomed on Jan. 22, they couldn’t wait to show off a pic of the little guy just one day later!
Gerard shared the twitter photo late on Jan. 23 from the hospital in Barcelona, Spain where Shakira delivered her baby boy — he even still has his hospital bracelet on his little ankle!
Milan was also rocking a new pair of adorable white Nike tennis shoes with his name embroidered in rainbow letters. Too cute!
Shakira & Gerard Announce The Birth Of Baby Milan
Shakira took to her personal website to announce the good news of her baby boy on Jan. 22.
“We are happy to announce the birth of Milan Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born January 22nd at 9:36pm, in Barcelona, Spain,” the announcement read.
“The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification. Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth.The hospital confirmed that the couple's first child weighed approximately 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and that both mother and child are in excellent health.”
