The 2013 Grammy Awards lit up the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10, and there were so many memorable moments! From Taylor Swift bringing the house down with a revenge performance for Harry Styles to Rihanna sitting proudly next to her man Chris Brown, we loved seeing all of our favorite stars!
The ceremony started with Jennifer Lopez taking the stage and — in one way or another — telling off CBS for “banning” sexy clothing during the telecast. Exposing her entire leg with a thigh high slit, Jennifer said, “As you can see, I didn’t read the memo.” (We’re glad you didn’t, Jennifer.)
Adele added to her collection of Grammy trophies, Rihanna sat side by side with Chris, and two generations merged when Ed Sheeran performed with Elton John!
Kelly Clarkson hilariously got stuck to Miranda Lambert when she hugged her, before walking on stage to accept the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. “I just got stuck to Miranda Lambert. There’s a story in a song, for later, after alcohol. I’m just kidding, children!” Kelly said, admitting to being extremely nervous.
Also, Frank Ocean had the last laugh when he beat Chris Brown at the Grammys (not like that!), winning the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
There were so many amazing moments at the Grammy Awards, we could hardly keep up! We just wish it didn’t end.
