Everyone’s on high alert during this year’s red carpet portion of the Grammy Awards, because CBS put a wardrobe advisory in place, banning sideboobs, buttocks and more inappropriate showings of skin. While Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Ashanti showed a lot of sideboob at pre-Grammy parties over the weekend, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Osbourne and Justin Timberlake kept their dresses and suits covering their intimate body parts.
“I think it’s just, you know, we should always stay classy and dress according to the event that’s being held,” Ashanti said on the red carpet, referring to the wardrobe advisory. “So I don’t think people should be limited so much and told what you can and cannot do. But, you know, you do have to have a certain class and prestige about yourself.”
Carly Rae compared picking out her dress to Disney princess Ariel getting her legs. When she finally chose the gorgeous gown, she said she felt like she “had legs.”
