Rihanna Doesn't Support Chris Brown On Grammys Red Carpet Feb 11th 2013, 00:08 Chris looked sharp and suave in a white suit when he arrived at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards — he was definitely not showing any side boob! But why didn’t he arrive with Rihanna? Chris Brown was looking good when he arrived at the 2013 Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, but he was missing one important accessory: Rihanna! Where was the pop princess? HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Rihanna was going to be Chris’ date, so why did he appear without her on the red carpet? Read on for all the details! Chris Brown Attends The Grammy Awards Without Rihanna Chris looked super sharp in a Lanbin suit when he arrived at the Staples Center, but he was without a date! Chris spoke to E!’s Ryan Seacrest, where he talked about how music “needs to become more real,” because he thinks it has become “gimicky” in recent years. However, being refreshingly humble, Chris admits that his own music is also “gimicky”! But let’s forget the music for a moment, and lets talk about love — where was Rihanna, and why was she not there to support him? A friend close to Rihanna previously told HollywoodLife.com, "Rihanna's turned up and getting into that performers frame of mind right now. She's focused and looking forward the the Grammys and [she] will be with Chris the whole night, so you know that's going to be extra f**king special. He already told her he would go with her, so it’s a wrap." Phew! Rihanna is clearly very focused on her performance with Bruno Mars and Sting, so she clearly didn’t walk the red carpet with Chris as she didn’t want any distractions.
