Whether its feuds between artists, children born much too early, or reported inappropriate drug use — the rap scene’s seen it all!
Rick Ross Escapes A Gunman
On Jan. 28, after celebrating his birthday at LIV nightclub in Miami, Rick Ross drove his car into a building while trying to escape a gunman who reportedly opened fire on the rapper! Dozens of shots were fired, but none hit the vehicle, luckily. Instead, they struck multiple buildings.
Detective DeAnna Garcia, of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, "We are currently looking for members of the public to come forward with information. No one was arrested and we have no suspects. The victim (Rick Ross) cooperated with the with police on scene and was released. No one was injured or taken to hospital."
Lil Wayne’s Hair Confusion
On Jan. 31, Lil Wayne was photographed at an event in New Orleans with fellow rapper Big Boi, at a birthday bash. In the photos, it appeared that the “Lollipop” rapper had cut off his signature dreadlocks, causing quite a stir! However, On Feb. 1, Weezy appeared at Lakeside Mall in Metairie to promote his Trukfit clothing line at a Macy’s line, with dreadlocks intact!
