Beyonce rocked her iconic ‘Single Ladies’ dance with her former girl group Destiny’s Child during the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 3, but she revealed in an interview that her daughter also does the dance — but she didn’t pick it up from her mom!
In the words of pal Kanye West, Beyonce‘s ”Single Ladies” music video is “one of the best videos of all time” — and now, even her baby daughter Blue Ivy is picking up on the iconic dance!
But instead of watching her mom’s music video, Blue Ivy picked up on the sassy choreography from a much more kid-friendly source! Beyonce revealed how her daughter picked up on the dance during an interview with Super Bowl Live.
"The song was on the Chipmunks series, and all of the kids are like, 'Oh, that's the Chipmunk song!'… My daughter actually does [the famous hand movement] and sings, 'Uh oh'."
Blue Ivy, who just turned one year old in January, is also learning how to talk — she’s growing up so fast!
"She's starting to talk. It's just such a beautiful time in my life to have a child and every day see something new and see her learn something new," Beyonce gushed.
Beyonce Reunites With Destiny’s Child At Super Bowl Halftime
The ladies of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, reunited with Beyonce on stage during the halftime performance, and wowed the crowd with their in-sync harmonies — it was just like the late ’90s all over again!
The girls performed "Bootylicious" and "Independent Women," before they all sang Beyonce's hit "Single Ladies." As the song came to a close, Beyonce thanked the girls and asked the audience to "give it up" for them.
