Shailene Woodley is seeing red! Her hair, that is! Shailene is portraying Spiderman’s love interest Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2. While filming in New York City, she showed off her new locks. Love it or loathe it, HollywoodLifers?
The role was played by Kirsten Dunst in a previous Spider-Man franchise. She will join real-life couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield in the sequel, hitting theaters in 2014.
The End Of ‘Secret Life’
Shailene’s leading role on Secret Life will end in June after five seasons. The last episodes have already been filmed and Shailene spoke to Us Weekly on Feb. 9 about the end of the series:
“It was a bittersweet day, that last day. It was five years and it was an amazing chapter in my life, but it’s also great to be moving on, to be moving forward onto other things.”
Shailene is definitely keeping busy though, working on Spider-Man, and Divergent, a new movie based on the popular novel.
“I’m working on a project called Divergent, and Kate Winslet just signed on. I’m really excited to meet her! I’ve been watching her since Titanic when I was 8 years old, so I’m really looking forward to getting to know her.”
