Justin got his feet wet in the shirtless department a few times in 2011, but he truly ushered us into his skintastic era after his split from longtime girlfriend Selena Gomez. Whether he was trying to tempt her, exact revenge on her, or even lure some new eligible bachelorettes, the point is the newly single Justin suddenly got the urge to rip his shirt off on stage. And it’s become a great habit ever since.
His shirtless antics have gotten even bolder in the recent months. He started taking his bare abs to the streets. The most memorable time happened in London on Feb. 28 when Justin strutted to his hotel after performing in Birmingham, He might look annoyed, but we don’t think he was looking too bad at all!
The now infamous picture actually caught the eye of another actress: Olivia Wilde tweeted at Bieber, “put your f**king shirt on.”
Justin Bieber Raises The Shirtless Stakes
Since then the Biebs has taken two truly iconic shirtless photos. The first came on Mar. 7 in the wake of Justin’s scary mid-concert collapse and subsequent hospitalization. That same night he tweeted a shirtless pic of himself laying in a hospital bed, looking very healthy — and quite seductive we might add! If you ask us, it was the perfect way to show us he was doing okay.
And then this week, Justin topped all of his other bare-skinned moments by going through airport security shirtless in Poland. Justin didn’t disrobe for security purposes — he didn’t have any metal objects on him — he just did it for sexy shock value. And it worked!
