What a sad story. Reid Flair was found dead in his Charlotte, NC hotel room at the young age of 25 on Mar. 29. Just a day before, he was happily looking forward to his promising future, tweeting about ‘better times ahead.’ Keep reading for more details.

The death of up and coming wrestler and son of a WWE legend, Reid Flair, is shocking and tragic. At just 25 years old, Reid’s life was abruptly cut short, and his optimism for the future makes his passing even more devastating.

Reid Flair’s Heartwrenching Final Tweet

One day before Reid was found dead in his hotel room, he tweeted, “Two shows in Maryland this weekend with @RicFlairNatrBoy. Good #wrestling and even better times ahead.” Reid and his father, wrestling icon Ric Flair, were scheduled to tour the United States together.

And there truly were “better times ahead” — insiders in the professional wrestling community assumed that the WWE was planning on offering Reid a contract in the coming months. Ric had just rejoined the WWE in December 2012.

Judging by his Twitter, Reid seemed to be a fun-loving young guy, who was truly satisfied climbing the ranks in professional wrestling, following in his father’s footsteps. Recently, Reid had been wrestling independently in Japan and when a fan asked him on Twitter how he was enjoying the experience, Reid responded jovially, “I love it. Living the dream brother.”

His Twitter page on the whole is a combination of enthusiasm, inspiration, and joy.

Reid Flair Tragically Passes Away At 25

Reid was found dead in his SouthPark Residence Inn hotel room in Charlotte, NC on Mar. 29. No cause of death has been released, though police on the scene insisted that there were no signs of foul play.

The initial police report, along with Reid’s optimistic last tweet, suggest his death was a tragic accident. Reid clearly planned on doing great things with his life, and we are truly sad to see it cut short like this.
