Another contestant sang for survival on the April 11 episode of ‘American Idol’ — are you shocked at who was in the bottom two?

After Candice Glover blew away the competition on the April 10 show, judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson had to sit, wait and watch as America’s votes were tallied before the live studio audience.

American Idol Elimination – Not A Surprise

After a group performance medley where Lazaro sounded…awful…Kelly Clarkson performed her newest single “People Like Us” with a glow in the dark theme!

She then fawned over her own idol Mariah Carey, who was giving the love right back to her. I thought their exchange was actually pretty awkward, but it was cute to see Kelly so starstruck.

After a long delay, Kree and Candice were announced as the top two.

Angie and Janelle were in the middle. This surprised me because I thought Janelle would be in the bottom two. Even Nicki said last night that she didn’t think Janelle had a leg up on the other girls.

Lazaro and Amber were in the bottom two. This really sucks! I’m not surprised at all to see Lazaro in the bottom but I thought Amber was really amazing last night. Nicki seems obsessed with her and her star power as well.

34 million votes determined Lazaro to be in the bottom. About 60 percent of the Twitter audience thought the judges should save Lazaro.

Unfortunately, the judges did not use their save. Were you surprised with the results, HollywoodLifers?

Who was the best tonight, HollywoodLifers? Tell us below.
