Candice Glover was told by Randy Jackson on the April 10 episode of American Idol that her performance of “Love Song” was "one of the greatest performances in the history, 12 years, of Idol!” Following an emotional reception, Candice thanked her fans on Twitter for all of their support.
Candice Glover Thanks Fans After ‘Idol’ Performance
Candice tweeted on April 11, “Just here to say thank you and I love you guys. I’m so overwhelmed and grateful that you guys accept my artistry and what I do! #cloud9.”
All four judges, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson gave Candice a standing ovation after her performance. Keith bowed down to her and Mariah threw a handful of glitter at her (yes, really!). And they weren’t the only people to praise Candice for her amazing performance.
Burnell Taylor Sends Candice Glover His Love
Burnell Taylor, who was eliminated on April 5, tweeted on April 10, “Just Wanna Say I’m Extremely Proud Of You Bruh You Shining And Your Career? Is Gonna Be AMAZING I Can’t Wait Love You.”
