On Apr. 10, a report claimed that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were postponing their wedding after hitting a recent rough patch. But HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that “she knows they’re meant to be together forever, so there’s no point in waiting.”
Miley Cyrus’ Wedding: ‘It’s Still On’
“It’s still on. They haven’t cancelled anything,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. Even though Miley and Liam have hit some road bumps along the way and seemed to be on the brink of splitting up in March, the two still truly believe that they’re soulmates. “Miley’s hanging in there, she’s not ready to call anything off,” the source says.
Miley’s thinking that if she’s going to be with Liam for the rest of her life, what’s the point in waiting any longer to tie the knot?
Miley Cyrus’ Team ‘Begging’ Her To Postpone Wedding
However, the singer’s management team isn’t thinking as romantically. “Miley’s management team has been begging her to push it forward,” the same source tells us. “They want her to wait two years!”
Miley’s team is concerned that a rushed wedding will look bad for her image — and that a quick divorce will look even worse! For that reason, “they’ve been trying to talk her into having a two-year engagement since the start and now they’re really pushing hard,” says the source.
Miley Cyrus Wants To Get Married Sooner Than Later
But don’t expect Miley to be persuaded by a couple of handlers. She wants Liam, and she’s going to get him when she wants him! “Miley is very headstrong,” the source says, “She does what she wants, no matter what anyone says.”
