In a revealing new interview, ‘The Voice’ judge opens up about how he and wife Miranda Lambert keep their marriage fresh, and the bizarre thing he does to prove he is a loyal husband!
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have one of the strongest marriages in showbiz, and it’s because they make sure there are “no secrets.” In fact, Blake is so open with Miranda he lets her go through his personal items!
Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Marriage Trouble: Not True — He Has Nothing To Hide
Blake, 36, and Miranda, 29, have been married since May 2011, and they work hard at their marriage. Blake’s number one rule for a successful marriage? Total honesty.
“[I tell Miranda] ‘I have nothing to hide from you,’” Blake revealed to PEOPLE magazine. “That’s always been our policy: ‘Here’s my phone. Go through it.’ That’s really the kind of trust we have. There are no secrets. [I'll say,] ‘Go dig through my drawers or my computer if you feel like you need to.’ And that’s been a good thing, because I really don’t want her to have any doubts.”
Blake clearly has nothing to hide. However, he admits that he sometimes get a case of the green eyed monster when men approach Miranda!
Blake Gets Jealous Easily
“I guarantee you,” says Blake, “if I saw some guy flirting with my wife, it would p*** me off. I haven’t seen a man brave enough to do that — mostly because I think they’d be afraid of her reaction!”
Blake and Miranda are so adorable, and it is sweet that they are so considerate of each other’s feelings.
