Former Teen Mom stars Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell, both 21, are now on a new show and this time it isn’t about a baby. The fan-favorite couple is looking to Couples Therapy as they struggle with doubts of whether or not they want to get married. Will their relationship survive for their planned summer wedding?
Tyler And Catelynn Once Again Confront Tough Decisions
The original stars of 16 & Pregnant first faced incredibly hard decisions when they gave up their baby girl Carly for adoption in the first season of the show. Teen Mom chronicled their adjustment to the adoption and a marriage proposal from Tyler. Now, the couple is heading to VH1′s Dr. Jenn Berman to help with their doubts of making that lifelong commitment to each other.
Tyler Doesn’t Know If He Is ‘Ready To Be Married’
In a new preview of Couples Therapy, Tyler and Catelynn are confronted with serious adult issues and the show’s Dr. Jenn makes them face them head-on. Tyler even says he isn’t sure if he is ready to make the marriage leap of faith.
The couple has been together for years and originally planned to get married July 15, 2013. The new clip shows Tyler saying, “I don’t know if I’m ready to be married,” and many brief shots of frustration and tears from both. This new season is going to be so intense!
