Mel Ottenberg has confirmed that he joined Rihanna’s competition reality show, ‘Styled To Rock’!
Mel Ottenberg, Rihanna’s stylist, has officially confirmed that he will be a “mentor” on Rihanna’s show on Style Network, Styled To Rock. Are you excited to see RiRi’s new show!?
Rihanna’s Reality Show — Mel Ottenberg Joins ‘Styled To Rock’
Mel Ottenberg is the third and final mentor on Rihanna’s hit show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. What better mentor than Rihanna’s own stylist, right? Ottenberg has styled many A-list celebs such as: Cate Blanchett, Chloe Sevigny and James Franco and his work has appeared in impressive publications like: Harper's Bazaar, V, The New York Times Style Magazine, and GQ Style.
We all love RiRi’s fun and unique style and we are always envious of her outfits, so Mel is the perfect person to cast on the show! The two other mentors on the show are Erin Wasson and Pharrell Williams – two very fashionable and stylish people. Salaam Coleman Smith, president of Style Media, made a statement saying: "Mel is one of the most respected stylists in fashion and has created some of the most memorable and distinct looks for A-list stars."
When Rihanna made a statement about new mentor, Mel, she said: “Mel and I have such a similar aesthetic. It's as if he can read my mind sometimes. I love his attention to detail and all the research he does for every look. He is more than a stylist. He is an artist."
We are very excited to see what Mel brings to the table on the 10-episode series! The series gives 12 up-and-coming designers a chance to create fashionable outfits for A-list celebs!
