After his split with Rihanna, Chris Brown and his ex Karrueche Tran seemed to be back on track with their on-again, off-again relationship. They were spotted at clubs together recently, and she even went to one of Chris’ concerts on May 9. But a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that even though the “Fine China” singer was supposed to attend Karrueche’s 25th birthday party on May 18, he was nowhere to be seen!
Chris Brown Skips Karrueche Tran’s Birthday Party
HollywoodLife.com reported that Chris was planning to attend Karrueche’s birthday party on May 18, but couldn’t make any promises because he was scheduled to perform in Las Vegas at the Billboard Music Awards the next day.
And even though Chris didn’t attend the party, Karrueche didn’t let that stop her from having a blast on her birthday with her girlfriends. Our source tells us she showed up to the club ready to party, wearing sexy short shorts and a crop top, with a big group of her friends.
Karrueche even made it a point to show there are no hard feelings that Chris couldn’t come! When the DJ played Breezy and Fabulous‘ new track “Ready,” Karrueche grabbed a group of her girls and started singing to the lyrics.
Is Karrueche Tran Still In Love With Chris Brown?
“She knows Chris is busy and has obligations and for her, she loves that about him and isn’t mad or anything like that,” our source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “She thinks the world of him and she’s just enjoying her birthday. Even though Chris isn’t here right now in person, he’s in her heart.”
Chris couldn’t be at the party, but he still showed her he cares with a special birthday tweet on May 17. He wrote, "Happy bday @karrueche," and Karrueche responded with a heart! They obviously still have feelings for each other!
