The female DNA that was found on the bomb from the Boston marathon does NOT belong to Katherine Russell, and in the wake of this news she has stopped co-operating with the police. Does she know more than she says?
Though Tamerlan Tsarnaev‘s wife Katherine Russell stated on April 23 that she knew absolutely nothing about her husband’s terrorist plot, police reportedly now believe otherwise. The female DNA that was found on the detonated bomb is not hers, and so she has since stopped talking to authorities and she refuses to tell them what she and her husband discussed before he was killed in a shoot out.
Katherine Russell Will Not Co-Operate With Authorities
Katherine stopped co-operating with authorities when it emerged that the female DNA found on one of the detonated bombs does not belong to her, reports the New York Times. The authorities are skeptical of her insistence that she played no role in the bombing and her claims that she did not help Tamerlan and his brother escape.
Furthermore, it appears that the bombs were built in the Boston apartment that she and Tamerlan shared, as reported by CNN.
Katherine has denied having anything to do with the bombings since the day her husband was identified as the culprit.
Katherine Russell: Complicit In Boston Bombings?
Katherine’s lawyers released a statement saying that she is cooperative and “doing everything she can to assist with the investigation.” However, it is known that Katherine felt trapped in her marriage with Tamerlan.
So is it possible that Katherine was scared into complying with her husband and brother-in-law’s acts of terrorism and that she actually tried to help them escape?
