After showing up on the red carpet, wearing a spiky crown that totally fits her unique style, the singer made sure to stay hand-in-hand with her fiance, Nickleback frontman and fellow Canadian Chad Kroeger, before taking the stage to deliver a dazzling performance of her latest single, “Here’s To Never Growing Up.”
The singer won the International Video of the Year by a Canadian award earlier in the night, so performing her rock anthem to staying young was the perfect way to celebrate. Congrats, Avril!

The theme of the song is about not wanting to “grow up,” and Avril’s show definitely kept that spirit alive with pink smoke spilling out onto the stage, a sparkly, bedazzled microphone, a hot leather outfit, and a crowd of punk-rock dressed dancers that joined her on stage at the end of the song.
