Despite Caroline Manzo’s talk with Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga’s relationship with his sister is still in shambles on the June 16 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. And a conversation between Melissa Gorga and Teresa does anything but bring the families closer together.
Teresa Giudice Interrogates Melissa Gorga At Gia’s Birthday Party
While Teresa and Joe’s father rests in the hospital while he suffers from pneumonia, Teresa throws a birthday party for her eldest daughter Gia. Melissa and Joe get invited, but due to a 104 degree fever, Teresa’s little bro sits this one out. Melissa, on the other hand, takes one for the team and dolls up her kids for a good time.
Sadly, Teresa brought along her minions — Kim “D” and her gym buddy Lisa — who helped Teresa interrogate her sister-in-law on the validity of Melissa’s hospital visit to her father-in-law.
As Melissa feels ganged up on, she rallies up her kids and peaces out. (Can you blame her?)
Kathy Wakile Gets Emotional Over Her Uncle’s Hospital Stay
Kathy Wakile considers visiting her uncle in the hospital, but she decides to sit back and let her kids go instead. Kathy is still reeling from calling her uncle a “coward” on the season four reunion. She feels bad and regrets using such a hard word. Richie supports her, but tries to encourage her to see him and mend their relationship.
Melissa, Kathy & Jacqueline Visit The Gym — Get Called Fat Asses
Melissa invited Kathy and Jacqueline Laurita to work out at the gym — a facility that Teresa calls her own — and they get spotted by T’s friend Lisa. Of course, Lisa calls Teresa and tells her, calling Jacqueline and Kathy fat asses in the process — and Teresa laughs with Kim “D.” (I’m sorry, but that doesn’t sit well with me. Who laughs when their family members are called fat asses?)
All in all, there are still huge rifts in the relationships among the housewives — we can’t imagine how the rest of the season will go.
