The ‘Gentleman’ singer brought his high energy and stellar dance moves all the way to Toronto, Canada to host the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards.
With performances from stars like Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, and more, the MuchMusic Video Awards on June 16 was definitely a night to remember — but most memorable of the night by far was host PSY, who wowed the crowd with his energetic spirit and “Single Ladies” dance moves!
PSY Hosts The MuchMusic Awards
We’ve all seen the “Gentleman” singer show off his top-notch dance skills during his fun performances, but this is the first time we’ve ever seen the singer actually host an awards show! Of course, it wouldn’t be PSY unless he performed something — and he did not disappoint by opening the show with a rousing rendition of “Gangnam Style,” complete with his famous moves and sexy backup dancers. What a great way to kick off the night!
PSY’s Fun Dance Moves At The MMVA’s
PSY didn’t just sing and dance. He proved he can joke too! During a cute moment with Glee star Naya Rivera, the Korean singer was dubbed a “gentleman” for sending her flowers and chocolates to her dressing room, but then she spotted women carrying flowers and chocolates in the front row of the show! Whoops, you’re busted PSY!
But that’s not all — our favorite part of the night was when he showed off his moves to Beyonce‘s “Single Ladies!” PSY created a sensation around the world with his “Gangnam Style” horse dance, but now he proves that he can master more than one dance style!
We knew PSY was talented — and now we can consider him a triple threat: singer, dancer, and awards show host!
