Carly Rae Jepsen, 27, attended the 2013 amfAR Inspiration Gala on June 13 in NYC along with fellow singer Jennifer Lopez and many others. She really held her own against the many other well-dressed stars and was totally owning her gown on the red carpet. She did a 180 before she took the stage to perform but she looked killer in both her outfits. Which look do you like better, her dress or her suit?

The “Call Me Maybe” singer knows how to work a venue and clearly understands that a quick outfit change can make a good night a great one. Carly looked beautiful in her dress on the red carpet and then swapped her gown for a pantsuit for her performance. The suit was equally as fashionable as the gown and the songstress rocked both looks. The Carlie Wong dress was dynamic and featured a short, tan silhouette with a long, flowing cream overlay. The overlay was covered in a pretty leaf pattern in the front and was plain chiffon in the back. It flowed all around Carly’s feet and reminded us a little of Taylor Swift’s heavenly gown at the Fragrance Foundation Awards.
Carly paired the sleeveless gown with a turquoise bracelet, gold clutch, red mani, and matching wavy, red tresses. Later in the night when she took to the stage to perform, Carly had ditched her flowing gown for a blue and black blazer and pant ensemble. The blazer has a deep black V collar and black buttons and the pants had a thick black stripe down the sides. She paired the suit with black pumps a big, square black ring and red lips that popped. She kept her hair the same but looked completely different than she did on the carpet.
