Katy Perry, 28, has covered many magazines before — but never Vogue. She looked picture perfect in her July cover shoot, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, and we loved her romantic look. What do you think of her first-ever Vogue cover?
Katy Perry’s Vogue Cover:
With dark black hair and porcelain light skin, Katy looks very much like Snow White on her July cover of Vogue. She’s wearing a dress fitting of the patriotic month, but she doesn’t look cheesy at all — she just looks gorgeous! The floral dress features red, white and blue flower appliques all over and it really comes to life. The off-the-shoulder silhouette gives the star a soft, retro vibe that she totally owns.
Katy is the opposite of her usually flashy pop star style and looks soft and romantic for a change. Her makeup was kept simple, save for her bold red lips that compliment her dress. She’s wearing the tiniest of red earrings that add the the perfect touch once you notice them. She’s not smiling, but gazing into the camera with her lips parted, completely drawing you in. Even her light blue eyes fit in perfectly with this look and we can definitely picture her singing with birds in the forest somewhere just like Snow White. Katy looks so pretty and perfect in this shot we want to buy this issue just for the cover!
