Drake, if you don’t want your name to be synonymous with Chris’, then you shouldn’t have mentioned him in your new GQ interview. Stop dissing Chris and Rihanna in the press and move on!

Drake, people will stop associating you with Chris Brown when you stop talking and rapping about him. In the July 2013 issue of GQ magazine, you mention that “it’s embarrassing” to have your name synonymous with Chris’ because of your fight over Rihanna. In my opinion, all press is good press, so there’s no reason to bite the hand that feeds you.

Drake & Chris Brown Beef — Drizzy Drake Needs To Stop Dissing Breezy & RiRi

It may seem silly to fight over a woman, but we can certainly see why one would fight over Rihanna — she’s drop dead gorgeous. Regardless, though, Chris and Rihanna, 25, don’t deserve to be dissed by you in the media. They deserved a second chance at love regardless of anyone’s approval or disapproval.

You have beef with Chris because of your mutual affection for Rihanna. That’s no one’s fault, and it’s certainly not Chris and Rihanna’s fault if they ended up together again after she dated you.

You admitted to MTV that at one point, after Chris assaulted Rihanna in 2009, she fell into your lap and you “treated her with respect,” suggesting that Chris never did.

It’s never easy losing someone you care about, but if Chris and Rihanna thought they were meant to be together, it’s not your place to stand in the way or judge their decision.

Drake Disses Chris Brown’s Ability To Rap

Furthermore, in your interview with GQ, you diss Chris by saying “he's not even a rapper.” Chris may have become famous for being an R&B singer, but Chris has been known to dabble in rap from time-to-time.

Chris, 24, recently told HotNewHipHop, “I like Rap. I love it. Music is my passion. Even on my album [X], there’s a couple songs that I rap on.”

Drake, there’s no need to diss Chris’ career, no matter how you classify the singer. I personally feel that anyone can be anything they want to be — singer, rapper, etc.

Drake: Focus On Love, Not Hate

Drake, what I do enjoy about your interview is that you talk about love. You said that Will Smith told you “love is when you become one and you need that person.” That’s so profound!

You mention that you don’t know if you’ve ever felt that way towards a person, and I think you should focus on finding that.

Rihanna’s an amazing woman, but maybe she’s not the one for you. Instead of throwing disses at Chris Brown, you should focus your attention on finding “the one.”

And not to be smart, Drake, but we probably wouldn't talk about your beef with Chris Brown if you and him didn't keep dissing each other. If you want everyone to leave it alone — and especially if you want it resolved — just stop talking smack!

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Drake stop dissing Chris and Rihanna in the press?
