What a precious baby girl! Proud mom Joanna and her hubby Nick Swisher introduced their baby Emme, 4 weeks, to the world in a surprise Twitpic!
Actress Joanna Garcia, 33, and her baseball player husband Nick Swisher, 32, welcomed daughter Emerson Jay Swisher, Emme for short, on May 21 in Cleveland. They couldn’t wait to show off a pic of their precious baby, and revealed the new photo just four weeks after she was born!

Just two days after Father’s Day, the Garcia-Swisher family shared the first photo of their new daughter on Twitter. After thanking photographer Jacqueline Jo for the shots, Joanna tweeted, “@NickSwisher & I would like you all to meet our little angel :)” with the pic on June 18.
Minutes before the picture was posted, Nick teased his followers, asking, “Who’s ready to see Emerson Jay Swisher?!”
Baby Emme is pictured in a small basket, in front of a wall of flowers. Swaddled in a purple blanket with a small flower on her headband, the picture of the newborn could not be more precious!
Joanna and Nick Welcome Baby Girl Emerson
The couple announced the birth of their first child on May 22, after revealing their pregnancy in November. They released the little one’s birth information just the next day. The parents released a statement with the good news:
We are overjoyed, blessed and so full of love that our daughter Emme has finally arrived. She is healthy, beautiful and vibrant. It’s the best feeling in the world.
Baby Emerson was born in Cleveland, where dad Nick is currently playing for the Cleveland Indians. She is the first child for Joanna and Nick, who married in December 2010.
