After news of Kanye West‘s alleged affair with model Leyla Ghobadi broke, everyone instantly worried about pregnant Kim Kardashian. While the star has yet to comment on the allegations, HollywoodLife.com spoke to experts about how this will affect the couple!
Kim Blindsided By Cheating Allegations
Kanye’s been noticeably absent from his pregnant girlfriend’s side, but that hasn’t stopped Kim from diving into the relationship head first, which only makes the latest news of Kanye’s alleged affair worse.
“Although his cheating was predictable, she didn’t see it coming,” Beverly Hills celebrity psychiatrist Carole Lieberman, M.D. told HollywoodLife.com. “She will be devastated because she can’t undo her pregnancy and she’s terrified of being a laughing stock now.”
Should Kim Take Kanye Back, Or End Their Relationship?
Experts urge the star to be smart and not get sucked into Kanye’s crazy antics. ”Kim should wake up and realize that Kanye is not really committed to her,” Dr. Lieberman suggests. “She should keep Kanye at arm’s length and give him time to figure out what he really wants.”
“They will never be able to be totally apart emotionally because now they have a child in common. They will always be in each other’s lives on some level… Of course, no one knows what she’s going to do but it may give her pause to think about him in a whole other light,” relationship expert Dr. Gilda Carle says.
How These Allegations Will Impact Her Pregnancy and Unborn Child
Kim’s almost ready to pop, but how will the stress of the alleged affair affect her health and pregnancy? “I fear for her emotions right now because she’s got to be kept calm. She’s got to be resting so her delivery can be as smooth as possible,” Dr. Carle says.
Dr. Carole Lieberman adds, “The emotional repercussions of Kanye’s affair could well affect Kim’s health and the health of their baby.”
Should Kim Reach Out To Leyla?
The experts say definitely not! “Oh no! Kanye got her into this, is involved with this story, it is his job to get out of it. He has to clean up his act,” Dr. Carle explains.
Dr. Lieberman says that there’s no point. “Leyla obviously wants media attention and can’t be trusted to tell the truth about her relationship with Kanye.”
Is Kimye’s Relationship Real?
Leyla alleges that Kanye told her his relationship with the reality star is “fake,” but what do the experts say?
“It’s pretty real, if he inserted his penis into her vagina!” Dr. Gilda Carle told HollywoodLife.com.
Dr. Liberman disagrees. “He loved the extra attention that being in a relationship with Kim provided. But, if Kim hadn’t gotten pregnant, Kanye probably would be long gone by now.”
