Madonna and her daughter, Lola have confirmed that Rita Ora is the official face of ‘Material Girl!’
Rita Ora, 22-year-old singer, will be the official new face of Madonna and daughter, Lola’s, junior clothing line, ‘Material Girl.’ What do you guys think – is she a good candidate?
Madonna & Lola’s View On Rita Ora:
On June 12, Madonna and daughter Lola, confirmed Rita Ora as the new face of ‘Material Girl,’ their junior clothing line, replacing Georgia May Jagger – and we are very excited! Rita is known for her eclectic and fun style – just like Madonna – so, who better than Rita to get the gig!? Madonna and Lola shared their view on Rita Ora: "Rita is a talented beauty but what really drew us to her is the confidence she oozes through her music and her unique sense of style. On stage or off, in photos or on the street – she’s a magnet! This is what the Material Girl brand is all about!"
The rumors were true but not completely – Madonna and Rita met for the first time on June 1st at the "Sound For Change" concert in London at the Twickenham Stadium – contrary to the belief that they reportedly met at the Met Gala on May 6!
The ‘Material Girl’ line is sold primarily to Macy's in the U.S, The Bay in Canada, and in Europe and Australia. The Fall 2013 advertising campaign will be launched in July and we are so excited to see what all these quirky ladies have in store for us!
