The songstress is gearing up for the release of her line and the clothing is definitely a reflection of her quirky sense of style — would you wear these clothes? VOTE
Nicki Minaj, 30-year-old rapper, recently gave us a look at her upcoming line for Kmart but we are not quite sure how we feel about it. We love Nicki’s style on stage, but sometimes it doesn’t always translate to everyday dressing. What do you guys think?
Nicki Minaj’s Kmart Clothing Line:
We all know that Nicki has a very eclectic and unique sense of style — and sometimes we love it and sometimes we are not pleased! Either way her look is always funky and crazy, and she owns it! So it only makes sense that her clothing line is a true reflection of her style. With the brightest colors and patterns you have ever seen splashed on tight leggings and more, she really brings her stage look to the sidewalk.
She has a bunch of cute, tight, mini-dresses and Nicki even says in her video, “There are some dresses that I’m obsessing over already, just the shapes of them.” She is very confident in her new clothing line and talks about it very strongly about how it accentuates women’s bodies – saying, “They tuck you in in the right places and enhance the right places.” She then talks about her goals for this future line: “I’m doing this for women in general to feel beautiful and sexy and any woman can wear it and feel confident.” Her motto for the collection is “comfortable equals confident” — and we can obviously see that with all crazy patterned leggings!
Nicki is very brave and confident with her style and outfit choices even if sometimes they do land her on a worst dressed list. Do you feel a little on edge about this collection or should we be looking forward to this fun, quirky, new line? Tell us what you think and VOTE!
