As much as we’re enjoying summer TV, we can’t help but wonder what our favorite fall-to-spring stars are up to. In that spirit of curiosity, HollywoodLife.com put together a list (and gallery) of our small-screen favorites soaking up every last ounce of summer.
‘The Vampire Diaries’: Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev & Candice Accola
During a European tour — work-related, unfortunately — a sleep-deprived Ian Somerhalder tweeted a slightly spooky shirtless selfie from his Moscow hotel room. I’m not sure why he looked so tired, though. Aren’t vampires supposed to be night owls?
One of Ian’s Vampire Diaries co-stars, meanwhile, chose to start her summer in sunlight. Nina Dobrev was spotted sporting a bikini in April — she got an early jump on the season — with some celebrity friends.
And then there was Candice Accola. Eternally unlucky in love as Caroline Forbes, Candice turned out to be pretty lucky in real life, as her boyfriend – The Fray member Joseph Aaron King – popped the question during the couple’s European vacation!
‘Glee’: Naya Rivera & Lea Michele
Naya Rivera‘s been a busy girl this summer, doing some serious commercializing for Budweiser, but she still found time to snap a swim-suit selfie. (Such a thoughtful girl!)
Photographed from a slightly further distance, Naya’s fellow Gleek Lea Michele has been equal parts beach bum and doting girlfriend — boyfriend Cory Monteith recently powered through a stint in rehab – during her summer, so far. How can you not love her?
Room For A Few More?
Never one to pass up a chance to flaunt it — hey, she’s got it, right? – Sofia Vergara tweeted a flurry of photos so far this summer, including a few skin-tastic shots.
Lastly, former 90210 star Shenae Grimes and new-husband Josh Beech hit up the beaches of Thailand in June after tying the knot in May. The PDA-friendly couple tweeted an action shot from one of their romantic strolls along the shore.
