Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may be new parents — the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named North West, on June 15 — but it looks as though parenthood is coming quite naturally to the couple. Kim and Kanye are even splitting parenting duties!
Kim Kardashian, 32, and Kanye West, 36, are taking the hands-on approach to parenting their new baby girl, North West, 2 weeks. Not only have they been enjoying their daughter’s company, but they have also been participating in the usual parental responsibilities.
Kim and Kanye Adjusting Well to Parenthood
Kim and Kanye may be adjusting well to parenthood, but has one parent taken on more responsibility than the other? Definitely not, according to a source close to the couple. We already know that Kanye is absolutely in love with his new baby girl, but now we know how he is as a father!
“They are splitting duties,” a source tells E! News. “Kanye is so hands on. He’s changing diapers.”
Kim Feared Parenthood Before Becoming Mother
Kim may be a “natural” now, but her pregnancy wasn’t without its trepidations. The source told E!:
Kim always feared having a baby. She thought it would be so hard, but it’s all coming so naturally to her.
Like Kanye, Kimmy seems to be adjusting well to all different aspects of new motherhood, including breastfeeding and diaper changes. It’s a far cry from the nervous and tearful Kim that has been chronicled on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
