Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel have a new addition to the family! The singer and her actor hubby are the proud parents of a baby boy named Axl Jack Duhamel, born on Aug. 29 — congrats to the new family!
Fergie Welcomes A Little Boy
The ‘Fergalicious’ singer and her Transformers star husband, who have been married since 2009, shared the good news of her little boy’s arrival on Aug. 29, he weighed in at 7lbs. 10 oz! They reportedly named their son after Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose.
Fergie showed up to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, for a scheduled c-section and her hubby was beaming!
Fergie is expected to stay in one of the VIP suites at the hospital, the same one used by Kim Kardashian. The suite will run her about $3,320 and it’s equipped with luxurious amenities like a fully-stocked fridge, three gourmet meals a day, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and nice decor. Plus, if the new mommy wants to splurge even more, she can try out the salon services for a haircut, manicure, pedicure and more!
Fergie Super Excited About Motherhood
In an interview with E! News’ at the Logo NewNowNext Awards in April, Fergie shared her and Josh’s enthusiasm about becoming new parents.
“We’re having so much fun, we’re just dreaming and getting excited,” she told E! News.
Josh also told E! News at an Omega Watches Planet Ocean launch in April that he sang to Fergie’s baby belly and will take his new fatherhood role seriously.
“It’s very important to me that we raise this kid right,” he told E! News.
Fergie’s Bandmates Are Thrilled For The New Mom
The Black Eyed Peas drummer apl.de.ap told E! News at the Time for Hope Gala in May that he loves his fellow bandmate like a sister and that the band is really excited about the new addition.
“It’s mama time, it’s Ferg time right now,” the musician told E! News. “It’s about the baby and her and Josh and the family now.”
