Hayden Panettiere arrived for her appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Aug. 28 in NYC, where the 24-year-old debuted a brand new ‘do! Her blonde ambition shone right through, thanks to her platinum, stick-straight strands and her blunt bangs. While Hayden unleashed a sexy new side, it actually wasn’t the first time we saw this look!
Nicki Minaj’s Mini:
Hayden looked like Nicki Minaj‘s long lost twin when she stepped out, rocking the sexy dress and her platinum ‘do. In fact, Nicki was the first to show off the Alexander McQueen, long-sleeved mini. The frock, which features a stained-glass pattern, hugged her infamous curves as she posted a series of photos of herself in the look on her Instagram account on Aug. 7. On this occasion the 30-year-old performer rocked the dress with a blunt blonde wig and added a standout pink pout. Long, lush lashes added to her very pretty look. Nicki stuck to the red theme, pairing the dress with a sexy pair of pumps.
Hayden Panettiere’s ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ Dress:
While Nicki paired the frock with pumps, Hayden opted for a bold pair of cherry red booties. She stuck to the theme, adding a red pout to the get-up. Hayden’s new edgy look was definitely refreshing and she looked fantastic — not to mention the fact that I’m obsessed with this mini. The vibrant print of this dress looks so good on the red carpet — I’m sure this won’t be the last time we see it!
While I am loving this edgy and sexy side of Hayden, Nicki gets my vote on this occasion. The footwear really was the deciding factor for me. I appreciate Hayden trying to make the get-up even edgier but there’s no denying the fact that a simple pump really elongates the leg and lets this intricate dress shine. What do you think?
