Happy birthday Liam! On Aug. 29 the One Direction cutie turned 20-years-old and his bandmate Niall was the first to celebrate, wishing his ‘brother’ a happy birthday.
Are One Direction the cutest boy band ever? As Liam Payne celebrates 20 years of gracing this earth with his beautiful face, his bandmate and “brother” Niall Horan was the first to congratulate him on his birthday!
Liam Payne’s Birthday — Niall Horan Rings It In
On Aug. 29, Niall tweeted “Happy birthday to my brother @Real_Liam_Payne ! No longer a teenager buddie! love you dude !”
What a sweet message! Niall and Liam have been in the band for more than three years, so no wonder they see each other as brothers.
Liam also tweeted, and wrote “Good morning everyone :) can’t quite believe my life there’s no bigger birthday present than what you’ve done for me in 3 years thank you xx”
Not only does Liam celebrate his birthday this week, One Direction are also celebrating the release of their new movie This Is Us!
This Is Us hits theaters on Aug. 30, and it worth seeing!
HollywoodLife.com reporter Emily Longeretta saw the film early, and urges you to see it. She says:
It’s no surprise that 1D puts on a good show in concert, but that doesn’t always result in a good documentary. In this case, however, One Direction delivered!
Even though I wasn’t one of the hundreds of fan-girls actually screaming during the film, I came out of the film understanding and adoring Harry Styles, Niall, Liam Louis Tomlinson and the newly-engaged Zayn Malik.
By showing the clips of each of the boys individually getting sent home from season seven of UK’s The X Factor, the film stole my heart immediately — we even saw tears from the boys! However, when Simon Cowell chose to create a group out of the talented singers, he was actually creating a family.
I didn’t know the story behind One Direction, and didn’t consider myself a major Directioner, but now … I can proudly say that I am.
