Where Prince William goes, his family will follow! The Duchess of Cambridge packed up Prince George’s diaper bag and headed north for Wales after Prince William returned to duty as a rescue helicopter pilot.
New mom Kate Middleton spent the first three weeks after her baby Prince George‘s birth living at her parents’ Berkshire mansion, but when the time came for Prince William to get back to work a little over a week ago after his paternity leave, Kate and the baby quickly followed him to back Anglesey (and island off the coast of Wales) to be by his side. Kate is so supportive!
Kate Middleton & Prince George Move To Wales To Be With Prince William
Kate had a lot of extra help from her parents while she stayed at their home, but the support didn’t end there! Kate’s mom, Carole Middleton, also joined Kate and baby George in Wales. With Prince William busy on RAF duty, Kate must be feeling lonely and overwhelmed, so it’s nice to know she had an extra hand with the baby — especially since she decided not to hire a maternity nurse!
The royal couple says they are 'immensely grateful' for Carole’s help, according to the UK’s Daily Mail. Kate 'just feels safest and most secure' with her family, especially with Prince William off at work, sources tell the Mail.
After Kate’s mom helped her get settled, the new grandma headed back to Berkshire on August 15. Prince William was spotted dropping her off at the train station, as Kate was probably resting with her little one at the couple’s rented farmhouse.
Kate won’t be without her husband for too much longer — Prince William’s posting at RAF Valley comes to and end in mid-September, and the family will relocate to a new home in Kensington Palace. How exciting!
Kate Middleton & Prince William Seek Out Childhood Nanny For Prince George
In the meantime, Kate may have help with the baby from Jessica Webb, William's 71-year-old childhood nanny.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have reportedly asked Jessica to come out of retirement to help take care of Prince George, according to the Sunday People.
Jessica cared for both William and Prince Harry, and the boys have reportedly stayed very close to her even as they've grown up. She was a guest at William's 21st birthday and was also in attendance for William and Kate's marriage two years ago.
"Jessie would be ideal," a royal courtier told the Sunday People. "Everyone likes her. She's discreet and of an age when she's not going to have her picture in the paper every five minutes."
Jessica is reportedly keen to help because she remembers her years with William fondly, but she still isn't sure about taking on a full-time job.
