Rob was all smiles when he was spotted out and about with friends in Los Angeles — but is he just putting on a brave front? We know Rob has been missing Kristen ‘like crazy,’ so all of his uncharacteristic partying might just be an attempt to distract himself from his ex.
Robert Pattinson, 27, seemed to be enjoying his night out at a Bobby Long show at the Troubadour in Hollywood, Calif. on August 16 — the usually solemn actor even flashed a grin for the cameras as he left the venue with several friends. But even though Rob has vowed to move on with his life after his split from Kristen Stewart – even moving well across LA to get away from her — the out of sight, out of mind trick doesn’t seem to be working for him.
Robert Pattinson Parties With Pals — Distracting Himself From Kristen Stewart?
Rob was completely surrounded by an unfamiliar entourage on his night out, and it really seems like the naturally introverted actor is overdoing it. Rob has always been very low-key and we can’t help but wonder if he’s partying so much in an attempt to keep his mind off Kristen.
It’s been months since R-Patz and K-Stew’s split, and Rob just moved almost 10 miles away from their former Los Feliz home — but the time and distance hasn’t helped him forget the love of his life.
“Rob is missing Kristen like crazy,” a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. ”He thought by moving to Beverly Hills and hanging out with his new friends it would take his mind off Kristen, but it has done the complete opposite,” the source says. “His distractions are only making him miss Kristen more.”
And as the days go by, Rob’s lingering pain from his breakup is just getting worse:
He is lonely and sad. He’s in a new home, but it doesn’t matter, having Kristen not around isn’t the same. He used to laugh with Kristen and things just aren’t the same with her not around.
Poor Rob! He obviously feels so alone without Kristen, which is probably why he always wants to be out partying with friends. But no matter how long the party lasts, at the end of the night, Rob has to return to an empty house without Kristen. So sad!
Robert Pattinson Still Misses Kristen Stewart After Moving To Beverly Hills
Rob isn’t the only one having a hard time after his recent move.
“Kristen is crushed that Rob felt it was necessary to move to Beverly Hills,” a source close to K-Stew told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“She feels like this was his way of saying, 'I can't be bothered with you anymore,’” the source added.
Both Rob and Kristen seem to be fighting against their love for each other at this point. They broke up and tried to live single lives, but it doesn’t seem to be working out for either of them. So is a real reunion on the horizon?
“It’s only a matter of time before Rob will be reaching out to Kristen,” the first source says. And that really might be for the best.
