The royal baby’s official royal portrait is coming soon to a social media page near you. You won’t be able to miss the pic, because EVERYONE is going to be hitting the retweet button on that one!

Prince George‘s official royal portrait is expected to be released in the coming days — via the Clarence House Twitter page! Will they be Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s personal home photos or will it be a posed photo shoot? Either way, the highly anticipated photo release will go viral worldwide in a matter of seconds — and is even expected to break Twitter’s retweet record.

Prince George’s Royal Portrait To Be Revealed On Twitter

Prince George’s portrait reveal is going to be a social media phenomenon — but how quickly will the little prince’s pic make it onto all his fans’ Twitter accounts?

“It’s predicted that the images could very well break the retweet record currently held by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama,” reports E! News. ”Photos of the couple taken shortly after the U.S. commander in chief was reelected garnered more than 500,000 retweets.”

The endearing tweets of the Obamas certainly were a Twitter phenomenon, but the royal baby’s reach is even more global. After all, you don’t have to be involved in United States politics like with the Obamas — or British politics, in this case! — to appreciate the royal baby’s extreme cuteness!

Royal Twitter Reveals — Social Media Modernity

The release of official pics via Twitter is a refreshing modern turn for the royal family. Without much fanfare, the Prince’s birth certificate was revealed on the Clarence House Twitter page on August 12. The palace has been freely sharing updates on the royal family’s comings and goings so that we can keep on the pulse — right on our social media accounts! Not only is it fun to get royal declarations via Twitter, but the royals seem much more relatable when they share their pics the same way we do!

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you going to be retweeting the royal baby’s portrait?
