The British police declined to provide details about this information they received on the death of Prince William and Prince Harry’s mother, only stating that they were looking into its “relevance and credibility.” They also emphasized that they were not reopening the case.
However, a new report alleges that detectives are looking into claims that Diana was murdered by a member of the British military, according to The Telegraph. Specifically, the police are reportedly investigating the claim that a Special Air Service sniper, Sergeant Danny Nightingale, was given orders by a senior officer to take down Princess Di and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed.
Conspiracy theorists have posited that Diana’s death was a setup for years, but the British police ignored the whispers all along — until now. This reported new investigation is “unprecedented,” according to The Telegraph.
